Complete the development
of the “free surface” CFD method initiated in the FY ’00 program. Enhance the CFD design tool by integrating higher fidelity CFD models
and increasing efficiency. Further improve hydrodynamic
performance of advanced hybrid craft by applying the new CFD design and
optimization tools to the shape and interactions of underwater bodies.
