CCDoTT Fiscal 2006 Proposal Briefs
February 1, 2006
The CCDoTT annual program development
begins with the solicitation of “2 page” project description
submissions. These documents provide an overview description of
each project, what issue it intends to address, what will be
accomplished, and a proposed cost to complete. When compiled, these
briefs are used as the source from which CCDoTT reviews and selects
projects that meet the program objectives for the next year.
CCDoTT R&D efforts are focused on the
following program areas:
-
High-Speed Ship Systems
-
Agile Port and Terminal Systems
-
Advanced Technology and Support of
Emerging Seabase Concepts
-
Rapid Deployment Technologies
-
Transportation Infrastructure Security
-
Decision Support Tools
The FY06 program development process is
now ready to begin. The program will include consideration of both
ongoing programs and new initiatives. Both require a project
description to be submitted. In the case of ongoing projects, the
timing associated with completion of the FY 05 project and delay or
overlap between the FY05 and FY06 project start and end timing
should be considered.
Project descriptions must be received no later
than February 28, 2006 in order to be considered in the FY06
program. The link below provides a
downloadable template with the format that must be used in
preparation of your project submission.
