IMPACT 2008

Innovative Maritime Partnerships Advancing Cargo Transport

January 16, 2008

CCDoTT’s hugely successful IMPACT 2008 conference was held in Long Beach on board the RMS Queen Mary January 16, 2008 to a record audience of over 120 attendees.

Among the program highlights was a special presentation on CCDoTT efforts in the area of Short Sea Transport “America’s Marine Highways” presented by Mark Yonge, Managing Member, Maritime Transport and Logistics Advisors, LLC.

The Keynote address by Mr. J. Douglass Coates centered on “Delivering the Goods: Meeting Tomorrow’s Challenges for Military and Civilian Logistics”. An update on how the Agile Port System faces the challenges of today’s logistics issues.

This year we initiated a webcast of the proceedings which is now available online at www.maritimetv.com. The webcast will be posted for a full year. The Invitation, Press Releases, Program Packet, Summary Report and all the Presentations are found in the links below.

Our sincere appreciation goes out to CCDoTT Advisory Committee Chairman VADM Al Herberger, USN (ret.), The Barton Group, all attendees, staff, and the crew of the RMS Queen Mary who helped to make this event happen.
