Optimization of Military and Commercial Goods Movement, Phase I
Obtain a baseline model of current regional goods movement based upon a representative cross section of major shippers supply chains. Survey current and emerging information technologies. Assess the likely impact of implementation of these technologies on regional goods movement, limitations, tradeoffs, and implications for other supply chain stakeholders using the Regional Supply Chain Simulation Model.
