Strategic Mobility 21
A Fort to Foxhole Power Projection Support Platform to test logistics concepts from a remote port. The FY05 project will finalize a design and evaluate the utility of a dual use, military and commercial, Agile Port System within the Southern California regional freight distribution network. The system design will include supporting information technology, one or more marine terminals, a dedicated short haul rail network, and the multi-modal inland freight hub located at Victorville, CA developed as both a Joint Logistics Power Support Platform and National Logistics Training Center.
