Project Results
This is the archive of CCDoTT’s research in Agile Port and High Speed Sealift technologies. Projects are organized by subject areas known as Program Sectors, then by the Fiscal Year the project was funded.
The table below shows how our Fiscal Year (FY) program cycles correspond with Calendar Year (CY) dates.

1.0 Agile Port and Terminal Systems
These are projects and demonstrations that assess ongoing commercial and military cargo movement requirements, development of cost benefit alternatives, and demonstration of advanced equipment and software systems capabilities.
2.0 High Speed Ship Systems
Projects and demonstrations associated with high-speed hull forms to enhance existing ocean and coastal transportation systems.
3.0 Rapid Deployment Support Systems
Projects and demonstrations that establish logistic and supply chain management systems in conjunction with intermodal military and commercial cargo movements.
4.0 Decision Support Tools/Command & Control
Projects that reduce military deployment times while minimizing the degradation of commercial shipping, and projects that develop systems that support direct real time communication between military logisticians and the commercial shipping industry.
5.0 Marine Highways/Short Sea Shipping
Projects that support the use of coastal and inland waterway shipping with economic feasibility studies and commercial multi-hull and high-speed ship designs. Reflected in this program is the recognition of the huge potential to American shipbuilding in this expanding industry, and the dual use value of this class of ships to the military.
6.0 Program Management & Technical Oversight
Projects that provide program administration, planning, recommendations for potential outyear programs, maintaining the CCDoTT website, conducting CCDoTT events and extensive technology transition activities. This also includes our Innovation Cell program which spans across all program sectors.
