CCDoTT Program Review (CPR)
The CCDoTT Program Review was held on April 21, 2010 at the Hall of States in Washington, DC. Attended by nearly 50 participants, the conference involved a presentation by the principals of CCDoTT projects underway with university and commercial research partners.
Jonathan D. Kaskin, Director, Strategic Mobility and Combat Logistics Division (N42), Deputy Chief Naval Operations (Fleet Readiness and Logistics) (N4), opened the conference by providing an in-depth review of major Navy sealift issues and their relationship to the projects being presented.
The Program Review was specifically targeted to allow government and military interests to have feedback on the current FY08 CCDoTT projects. Special invitations were extended to members of the Agile Port/High Speed Sealift Action Officers Group which was well represented. Additional invitations were extended to marine related technical organizations and designated government and industry offices, with an emphasis on Short Sea Shipping interests. The audience demonstrated great interest and understanding of the projects and participation was both lively and productive.
Our thanks go out to the staff of the California State University Office of Federal Relations who helped to make this event happen.
