CCDoTT Program Review (CPR)
East Coast Conference May 27, 2009
The CCDoTT Program Review was held on May 27, 2009 at the Hall of States in Washington, DC. Attended by nearly 50 participants, the conference involved a presentation by the principals of CCDoTT projects underway with university and commercial research partners.
The conference was opened with a presentation by Jonathan Kaskin, Director Strategic Mobility and Combat Logistics, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, on Navy Strategic Mobility capabilities, requirements and initiatives. He emphasized CCDoTT’s potential role in support of Short Sea Shipping and Navy mobility interests.
The Program Review was specifically targeted to allow government and military interests to have feedback on the current FY07 CCDoTT projects. Special invitations were extended to members of the Agile Port/High Speed Sealift Action Officers Group and commercial industry reps in the field of Short Sea Shipping / American Marine Highways.
Our thanks go out to the staff of the California State University Office of Federal Relations who helped to make this event happen.
