The CCDoTT Program Review was held on June 6, 2007 at the Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies (MITAGS) in Linthicum Heights, MD. Attended by 40 participants, the conference involved a presentation by the principals of CCDoTT projects underway with university and commercial research partners.
The Program Review was specifically targeted to allow government and military interests to have feedback on the current FY06 CCDoTT projects. Special invitations were extended to members of the Agile Port/High Speed Sealift Action Officers Group. Additional invitations were extended to marine related technical organizations and designated government and industry offices.
The conference opened with remarks on the overall CCDoTT program by Stan Wheatley and Steven Hinds, followed by presentations by the project teams. Among the program highlights was a tour and demonstration of the MITAGS state-of-the-art Full Mission Ship and Tug Simulators.
Our thanks go out to the staff of the Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies who helped to make this event happen.
