On March 27, 2007 CCDoTT had the opportunity to brief the High Speed Sealift/Agile Port Executive Steering Committee (ESC).
This is a joint committee of flag level military and DOT leadership which sets the direction and policies for joint HSS/AP R&D issues. The Chief of Naval Operations, Strategic Mobility/Combat Logistics Division (N42) serves as the Executive Agent
The High Speed Sealift/Agile Port Action Officer Group (AOG) is comprised of representatives of all the Services and carries out the directives of the ESC.
CCDoTT was able to inform this important body of our current efforts in High Speed Ships, Agile Ports, Seabasing, and Strategic Mobility 21 initiatives.
